Midsommar is celebrated in many parts of the world as the longest day of the year. In the northern parts of Sweden, the sun actually never sets and there is daylight both night and day. Friends and family come together to celebrate with music, dance and a lot of good food.
From the16th to the 23rd of June 2012 IKEA celebrated the Midsummer Swedish Festival with various in-store promotions and special summer events. A interactive web platform was designed as an inspiration where user can interact with a movie and explore IKEA products used in the movie scenes.
